On Sunday, the deputy commissioner said that government offices are working in coordination to make necessary preparations, including security, infrastructure, safe water and sanitation, centering the Prime Minister's visit.
Although the visit has been postponed, preparations continue in Parashuram and Fulgazi in Feni to welcome the Prime Minister. During the visit, he is scheduled to inaugurate the ‘Muhuri-Kahua Flood Control Project’ at a cost of Tk 1,542 crore in Parashuram. If the project is implemented, it is hoped that flooding and waterlogging in vast areas along the river will be reduced.
