Commerce Secretary Md. Ataur Rahman Khan, NDC, was the chief guest at an event held at the BCCCI office in Gulshan, Dhaka, on Saturday (September 12).
The students will take part in training at Zhejiang Agricultural Business College in China. At the event, the commerce secretary described the initiative of BCCCI President Mohammad Khorshed Alam as timely and commendable, and said that such programs, in addition to creating skilled manpower, will play an important role in increasing cooperation between industry and educational institutions.
The BCCCI president said that through training in China, the students will gain practical experience in modern production technology, workplace safety and clean production systems. He called on them to use the knowledge gained to contribute to the development of the textile and garment sector after returning home.
NITER Director Ashikul Alam Rana, Zhejiang Agricultural Business College teacher Md. Hamidur Rahman, BCCCI leaders, members and media personnel were present at the event.
