The State Minister said Prime Minister Tareq Rahman will go to the United States on September 21 to attend the United Nations General Assembly session. During the visit, bilateral meetings with various world leaders may discuss various issues, including the Rohingya.
Regarding Saima Wazed Putul's appointment to the World Health Organization, Humayun Kabir said there was a flaw in her appointment. He also commented that the matter was embarrassing for the United Nations.
Regarding border killings with India, he said efforts will be made to stop such incidents and resolve the related complications through discussions in diplomatic channels.
On bringing back money smuggled abroad, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs said work has begun to bring illegally smuggled money back to the country. The process of taking international cooperation for this is also underway.
