Bangladesh wants a new and effective relationship with India: State Minister for Foreign Affairs

The State Minister said Prime Minister Tareq Rahman will go to the United States on September 21 to attend the United Nations General Assembly session. During the visit, bilateral meetings with various world leaders may discuss various issues, including the Rohingya.

Regarding Saima Wazed Putul's appointment to the World Health Organization, Humayun Kabir said there was a flaw in her appointment. He also commented that the matter was embarrassing for the United Nations.

Regarding border killings with India, he said efforts will be made to stop such incidents and resolve the related complications through discussions in diplomatic channels.
