Body of missing son of Cumilla University teacher recovered

On Saturday (September 19) around 1:00 pm, his body was recovered from a jungle behind Magic Paradise Park adjacent to Gate No. 6 of Cumilla University. It has been learned that there were signs of severe injuries on the head of the body.

Apratim was the only child of Dr. Nahida Begum, Associate Professor of the Department of Bangla at Cumilla University. He was a student at Border Guard Public School.

OC Rakibul Islam of Cumilla South Police Station and Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam of Kotbari Police Outpost said that the boy's body was found in a jungle near the hill beside Gate No. 6 of the university. After receiving the news, police were sent to the scene.

Earlier, around 3:30 pm on Thursday (September 18), Apratim walked out of his house in the Kotbari area. Since then, he had been missing. Family members searched in various places but could not find him.
