Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Madani used to serve in the Mukabbariyyah of Masjid al-Haram. Along with giving the adhan, he also had the duty of conveying the imam's takbir to the worshippers as needed.
He was particularly known for giving the Fajr adhan and takbir. His last adhan in Masjid al-Haram was on 11 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH. There are also various recordings of his adhan, Hajj, and Eid takbirs.
Sheikh Ibrahim, born in Madinah Munawwarah in 1397 AH, memorized the Qur’an within the family. At just 15 years old, his life as a muezzin began by giving the adhan at a local mosque.
In 1439 AH, he was officially appointed as a muezzin of Masjid al-Haram. Having grown up in Madinah, he learned the Makki style of adhan in addition to the Madani style of adhan.
