At the press conference held on Saturday afternoon at Dighulia Bazar, the aggrieved relatives claimed that although Nafiul died a natural death, they were deliberately implicated as accused after six months.
At the press conference, Nafiul's uncle Nazrul Islam Chand said that on June 9, 2024, Nafiul was found unconscious in his own room and later doctors declared him dead. At the time of burial, the family had no complaint. However, due to a land-related dispute, later Nafiul's mother Nasima Akter filed a murder case in court against six people, as a result of which the relatives also had to go to jail. The victims strongly condemned this false case and demanded that the real cause of death be uncovered through a proper investigation and forensic report.
