3 schoolgirls from Pabna who left home out of resentment rescued from Kurigram

On Sunday (September 27) morning, saying they were going to school, they left home and reached Kurigram via Pabna, Natore and Rangpur.

According to police and family sources, one student planned to cross the border because of her family's neglect and taunts regarding a facial problem and her excessive interest in BTS. Two more classmates joined her, and they left home with about one lakh taka. After they reached Kurigram bus terminal, the family of a local police officer became suspicious upon seeing them wandering around in the unfamiliar area. Later, with the help of that police officer and his wife, their identities were confirmed and Pabna Sadar Police Station was informed.

At noon on Monday (September 28), Pabna Sadar Police Station handed over the three rescued teenage girls to their families.
