He made the call while speaking as chief guest at the ‘Graduation Ceremony-2026’ of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre, held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh auditorium in the capital on Tuesday (29 September).

LGRD Minister calls for building country's future through youth skills and leadership
The Minister said, young people now have the great responsibility of building a developed Bangladesh. This is not a war of weapons; it is a war to ensure a beautiful and safe future for the country's huge population.
He said that young people of the country have played important roles at various stages of the Language Movement, achieving independence and establishing democracy. They must also come forward in building the future Bangladesh.

The Minister further said that the training of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre is preparing young people to face future challenges. After completing the training, they must use their acquired knowledge, skills and leadership abilities for the welfare of the country and its people, alongside personal success.
At the event, he called upon the young people who completed the training to work for the country and its people. Relevant officials, trainers, students and invited guests were present at the event.
