According to the decision of the directorate's monthly coordination meeting for August, the office order issued on 28 September mentioned the designated areas of the officials. The inspection must be completed and the report submitted by 5 November.
According to the order, top officials including the directorate's Director General, Additional Director General and directors may inspect any upazila in the country. Officials of other divisions have been assigned to specific upazilas and thanas.
Officials of the Stipend Division will have to stay two days in their designated areas and inspect one urban and two rural government primary schools. Officials of other divisions have been instructed to stay one day and inspect one urban and one rural school.
Before the inspection, permission must be taken from the director of the concerned division. After completing the inspection, a report must be prepared in the prescribed format and submitted to the Stipend Division of the Directorate within five working days. Attaching evidence of the report with the TA/DA bill has also been made mandatory.
The office order said that officials will receive TA/DA from their respective salary heads in accordance with existing rules. Md. Masud Hossain, Director (Joint Secretary) of the Stipend Division of the Directorate of Primary Education, signed the order last Monday (5 October).
