DSCC grants to 168 pandals on occasion of Durga Puja

On Tuesday (October 6), at a program held in the Nagar Bhaban auditorium, DSCC Administrator Bir Muktijoddha Md. Abdus Salam handed over the grant money to the presidents and general secretaries of the pandals.

At the event, Abdus Salam said, Bangladesh belongs to everyone. To ensure the country's development and security, people of all religions and communities must work together.

Regarding preparations for Puja, he said, special initiatives will be taken to ensure cleanliness across the city. Streetlights around puja pandals will be kept operational and drain-cleaning work will be completed quickly. A round-the-clock control room will be opened at Nagar Bhaban three days before Puja.

Gopal Chandra Debnath, president of the Metropolitan Sarbojanin Puja Committee, praised DSCC's initiative and said that alongside the grant, the recognition given by inviting representatives of all pandals is important for them.
