On Friday (9 October) morning, in a post on his Facebook account, Mahbub Kabir Milon drew the Prime Minister's attention and made this proposal.
Mahbub Kabir Milon seeks one-month authority from Prime Minister
In the post, he said he wants to work for one month to stop ticket black-marketing on the Dhaka–Cox's Bazar and Dhaka–Chattogram routes. For this, no post or position, salary, or allowance will be needed; he only wants a car for travel and full freedom to work in the relevant department.
According to his proposal, experienced officers will be appointed for ticket inspection, and executive magistrates and special police support will be taken. He also mentioned plans to implement the policy of verifying passenger identity, imposing double fines in cases of irregularities, and the rule that the ticket belongs to whoever, the travel also belongs to them—this policy. He also proposed that ticket examiners and guards wear body cameras.
