1,702 appointed in 45th BCS, final gazette published
The recruitment process began with the publication of the 45th BCS circular on November 30, 2022. Around 346,000 candidates applied. A total of 268,119 candidates took the preliminary examination held on May 19, 2023. Of them, 12,789 passed.
Subsequently, 6,558 candidates passed the written examination. After the oral examination, on November 27, 2025, the Public Service Commission (PSC) recommended 1,807 candidates for appointment to various cadres.
