The body of Bangladeshi expatriate Md. Shahed Ahmed, who was killed in a missile attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 10, has arrived in the country.
On Friday (October 23) morning, when his body arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam received it.

The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment has confirmed that, Shahed's employing company, 'Sa’d Al Isa Contracting Company', has deposited 27,395.62 Saudi riyals for his outstanding wages and service benefits into the bank account of the Bangladesh Embassy.

It is noteworthy that 13 people were killed in the attack, including Md. Nasrullah Badarpuri of Nangalkot, Cumilla, and another Bangladeshi, and 27 Bangladeshi expatriates were injured.
