Criticizing the government, this Jamaat leader said, inflation in the country has exceeded 9 percent and due to the increase in prices of daily necessities, ordinary people and workers are bewildered. Yet the government, instead of fulfilling the workers' demand for minimum wage, is accusing them of creating instability at the instigation of the opposition party. He called on the government not to put the blame on the patriotic opposition to cover up its own extortion, corruption and misdeeds.

Raising allegations of shameless partisanship, he said, people from Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal are being placed in various government posts. At this time, he demanded constitutional reform by accepting the ‘July Charter’ and the verdict of the ‘referendum’ given by 70 percent of the people. He warned, that due to creating unrest in the country and wrong politics, Awami League may get an opportunity to return again.
