At the meeting, the High Commissioner said that PSA International is prepared for investment and operation in the Bay Terminal project. Once it is launched, the cost of transporting Bangladesh's import-export goods will decrease significantly. On the other hand, the Shipping Minister, referring to Bay Terminal as one of the government's priority projects, said that if it is implemented, the capacity of Chattogram Port and Bangladesh's position in international trade will be strengthened. He also emphasized Singapore's experience, technology and investment in the development of the port and maritime sector.
