Recharge suspended for 24 hours on specified Desco prepaid meters
Due to system upgrade work, recharge service will remain suspended for 24 consecutive hours on specific prepaid meters of Dhaka Electric Supply Company (Desco). For customers whose meter numbers start with ‘03’, their recharge service will be temporarily disrupted from 10 pm on Thursday (November 5) to 10 pm on Friday (November 6).

Desco disclosed this information in an emergency notice on Wednesday (November 4). To keep electricity supply uninterrupted, the authorities have requested customers to recharge their meters with sufficient balance in advance. In addition, customers have been advised to contact 16120 or 16999 for any emergency needs. The Desco authorities have expressed regret for this temporary inconvenience.
