Workers have returned to work, no benefit from conspiracy: State Minister Tuku
After the formation of the minimum wage board to increase garment workers' wages, workers have returned to work in the factories. However, a certain side is trying to create an unstable situation by obstructing them, and State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku commented that no benefit will come from such conspiracy. He said this to journalists before attending a workshop at the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute in Savar on Wednesday afternoon (November 4).

The state minister, who is in charge of law and order in Dhaka district, said that because the wage determination process is ongoing, workers in many factories have joined work. However, leaders and activists of some fascist and banned organizations are trying to create chaos by obstructing them. He warned that even if persons who fled the country conspire from abroad, they will not succeed.

Urging workers to remain alert, Sultan Salauddin Tuku said law enforcement agencies are already taking necessary measures by identifying the troublemakers. At that time, Member of Parliament for Dhaka-1 constituency Khondaker Abu Ashfaq and Administrator of Dhaka District Council Md. Yasin Ferdous Murad were present.
