President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has warned that if artificial intelligence (AI) controls humans, the entire civilization will fall into crisis. He said AI will determine where Bangladesh's position will be in the world in the coming days. However, care must be taken to ensure that AI does not control humans.
On Thursday (5 November), at the inaugural ceremony of the AI Business Summit 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center, he said the world is now standing at the door of a great transformation, the main element of which is artificial intelligence.

Referring to young people as the main soldiers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the President said that to reap the benefits of AI, the young generation must be made skilled in technology and well-educated.

Addressing businesspeople, he called for viewing AI not merely as a tool for reducing costs but as a means of creating new products and services and new employment opportunities. At the same time, he emphasized the safe use and effective regulation of AI.
