On Thursday (5 November), Dhaka's Senior Judicial Magistrate Mahfuzur Rahman granted her bail on a Tk 500 bail bond after a hearing. Pori Moni reached the court at 9:30 am that day, and her bail hearing began at 11:41 am. Lawyer Nilanjana Rifat Surabhi filed on her behalf.

While leaving the court, Pori Moni got into an argument with journalists. Raising an allegation against a journalist of touching her, she snatched the phone and abused him; the phone was later returned.

Earlier on Wednesday, the day of the evidence hearing, she failed to appear due to an allergy-related illness, and the court rejected her time petition, canceled her bail and issued an arrest warrant. The next date for the case's evidence hearing is 23 December.

It may be noted that on 6 July 2021, in the Boat Club incident, Nasir Uddin Mahmud filed the case against three people including Pori Moni. In the PBI investigation, prima facie truth was found in the allegations against Pori Moni and her costume designer Junayed Bogdadi Jemi, but no specific evidence was found against Fatema Tuz Jannat Bony. In the same incident, Pori Moni's case against Nasir over attempted rape and attempted murder is under trial at Dhaka's Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal No. 9.
