Pori Moni abuses journalist at court premises

The unpleasant situation occurred on Thursday (5 November) while leaving the Dhaka Judicial Magistrate Court premises. Pori Moni was heard angrily telling the journalist, 'Why did you touch me?' However, the journalist denied the allegation and said, 'Why would I touch you?'

In a video circulating on social media, Pori Moni is seen losing her temper just before getting into a car amid pushing and pulling by security personnel and a chaotic environment. At that time, she repeatedly raised her hand toward the journalist and abused him in obscene language. The journalist then said, 'I did not touch you. Why did you break my tripod?'

Earlier in the morning, Pori Moni surrendered and secured bail in a case filed by businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmud over beating, vandalism and intimidation.
