Sarjis Alam, chief organizer of the northern region of the National Citizens' Party (NCP), has commented that the fate of Chhatra Dal will be worse than that of Chhatra League.
He made this comment in a status posted on his Facebook ID on Tuesday.
In the status, Sarjis wrote, "The sooner Chhatra Dal becomes Chhatra League, the sooner their fate will be worse than that of Chhatra League."
Earlier, today (Tuesday), a clash occurred between Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir on the Jagannath University (JNU) campus. The incident took place during an event at the university's central auditorium in the presence of the UGC chairman.
