Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Dinesh Trivedi has said there is no rush regarding Prime Minister Tareq Rahman's visit to India. He said discussions on relations between the two countries and the visit are positive, and the visit may take place at a convenient time for the heads of government of Bangladesh and India.
On Tuesday (September 29) morning, after meeting with State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir, Dinesh Trivedi said these things in response to journalists' questions. In the nearly hour-long meeting, various issues of mutual interest between the two countries were discussed.

After the meeting, the Indian High Commissioner said the invitation for Prime Minister Tareq Rahman's visit to India is still open. However, there is no need to rush regarding a specific time for the visit. The visit will take place when the heads of government of the two countries think the time is suitable.
