DG of DSHE to be Changed This Week
According to sources, Sohel, who first served as Private Secretary (PS) to the current Education Minister, Md. Ehsanul Haque Milan, and later became the Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), has been embroiled in various controversies since assuming the DG role. Serious allegations have been raised against him regarding irregular transfers and postings in exchange for money. Most recently, he found himself in a difficult position after getting entangled in a conflict with an influential group from Bogura within the education administration. To resolve this situation, the government is moving towards appointing a new DG. For this purpose, a five-member search committee has been formed, comprising officials from the Ministry of Education and the Prime Minister's Office.
