Savings certificate profit rate unchanged, maximum 11.98 percent
The government has kept the profit rate of national savings certificates unchanged for the first six months of the current fiscal year 2026-27. As a result, investors will receive profits at the previous rate from July to December.

On Thursday (July 2), the Government Debt and Financial Asset Management Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a notification in this regard.

The notification stated that the interest rate effective for national savings schemes in the January-June period of the current year will remain the same with the same conditions for the July-December period.

As a result, the maximum profit rate on savings certificates, depending on the scheme, will remain unchanged at 11.82 percent to 11.98 percent.

The Ministry of Finance said that this decision to keep the existing interest rate on savings certificates unchanged has been effective from July 1.
