On Monday (July 6) morning, the day's program began with a colorful rally from the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The rally, jointly organized by the district administration and the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) Pabna, paraded through various streets of the city and concluded at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
Later, at the discussion meeting held there, the Deputy Commissioner of Pabna, Aminul Islam, spoke as the chief guest. Superintendent of Police Md. Sufi Ullah spoke as a special guest. Additionally, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) Pabna, A.K.M. Zakirul Islam, along with other relevant officials, delivered speeches.
The speakers highlighted the importance of rural development activities in rural development, poverty alleviation, employment generation, and sustainable economic development. They said that effective implementation of rural development programs is crucial for improving the quality of life and creating self-employment for the rural population.
Officials from various government departments, public representatives, small entrepreneurs, farmers, and people from different walks of life participated in the event.
After the discussion meeting, loan checks and saplings of various species were distributed among the members of the small entrepreneur and farmer cooperative societies of the rural development team.
