He disclosed this information while talking to journalists at the Sylhet Circuit House on Tuesday (July 7) afternoon.
The Expatriate Welfare Minister said, ‘Malaysia's labor market has been opened for Bangladesh from yesterday. Very soon, good news will be available regarding the labor markets of several Middle Eastern countries, Japan, and Mauritius.’
Earlier, he paid a courtesy call on the US Ambassador to Sylhet, Brent T. Christensen, to attend an event organized on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of US independence. Later, he participated in a cultural event organized in front of the historic Ali Amjad's Clock in Sylhet.
At the end of the event, during an exchange of views with journalists, he spoke about Bangladesh's foreign employment, labor market expansion, and the potential for new employment opportunities.
