Emotional farewell message from Sadik Kayem to Chhatra Shibir

On Monday (July 13), he confirmed the matter to the media.

Bidding farewell to Chhatra Shibir, Sadik Kayem said, “My beloved organization of emotions and love! Before I knew it, a long golden chapter has come to an end. As part of the organization's normal process, I have officially taken leave from Islami Chhatra Shibir today.”

He said, “I am offering countless thanks to Allah for everything. The most beautiful and productive times of my life have been spent with this caravan.”

According to Sadik Kayem, Chhatra Shibir taught him to think about the country and the nation, gave him the courage to speak breaking his inhibitions, and developed his leadership qualities. At the same time, the organization played an important role in his spiritual and moral development.

He further said, “Looking back, countless beloved faces and struggling images emerge on the pages of memory. The companionship and closeness of dedicated leaders and workers throughout the entire period is one of the greatest achievements of my life. At every turn of life, I have learned from you and been inspired.”

In the concluding part of the message, he prayed for the organization, saying, “May Allah Ta'ala accept the sacred relationships of the workers of this struggle and movement of Islami Chhatra Shibir. Grant us the ability to move forward as vigilant guardians of the liberation struggle of the oppressed people of this region in the days ahead, and grant such capable leadership that will make this movement victorious. Ameen.”
