Recently, after the ceasefire broke down, there have been several rounds of attacks and counterattacks between the US and Iran. In this context, the Trump administration has announced new sanctions and port-related blockades against Iran.

Meanwhile, Trump also stated that the US would take responsibility for the security of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important energy transport routes.
