The Cultural Affairs Minister said that the initiative to establish the museum was taken with the aim of preserving the history, sacrifices, and memories of the mass movement of the 2024 mass uprising. After the current government assumed office, necessary structural and legal amendments are being made to give the project a more permanent and institutional form.

Explaining the delay in the museum's inauguration, he said that a board of directors has already been formed for its management. However, it has taken some time to ensure a permanent manpower structure, organogram, and necessary administrative approvals for full-scale operation.
