In a recent long status on her verified Facebook account, Shabnam Faria said that she started her journey in the media through photoshoots and advertisements alongside her studies in 2012. Although she acted in her first telefilm in 2013, she did not act regularly until completing her bachelor's degree as per her family's decision. Later, after completing her graduation in 2015, she became fully involved in acting.
She said that in 2020, she took a break from acting due to the coronavirus pandemic and changes in her personal life. At the same time, due to weight gain caused by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), she did not feel comfortable in front of the camera. For this reason, she also reduced her work. Later, after completing her master's degree, she also joined a job.
Highlighting her long career experience, Shabnam Faria wrote, “I can say in a very loud voice that in these long 14 years, no one has ever, directly or indirectly, given me any bad proposal, nor dared to.”
According to her, an artist themselves decides how much access others will have to their personal space. She believes that is why she did not have to face such a situation.
Regarding her position in the media, Faria said that most people in the industry are affectionate towards her. She also mentioned that during her wedding in 2019, a festive atmosphere was created throughout the media community.
She further claimed that the biggest accusation against her was that she had a somewhat angry temperament. However, no one has any evidence to link her with any unethical activities.
Regarding her work style, the actress said that she always accepts work through directors. She does not take work by personally contacting any producer. As a result, the various rumors circulating about her have no basis.
