BAJUS stated that due to a decrease in the price of raw gold (pure gold) in the local market, new gold prices have been set considering the overall situation. According to the latest decision, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has been set at Tk 2,19,808. 21-carat gold is being sold at Tk 2,09,894 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk 1,80,267 per bhori, and the price of traditional method gold per bhori has been set at Tk 1,47,316.
What is the latest price of gold in the country's market today?
According to BAJUS instructions, this price will remain effective in all jewellery establishments in the country until further notice. However, wages will be added depending on the design and craftsmanship of the ornaments. Additionally, since VAT is included in the selling price, VAT cannot be collected separately from customers.

On the other hand, although gold prices have decreased, no change has been made to silver prices. Currently, 22-carat silver is being sold at Tk 4,607 per bhori. Additionally, the price of 21-carat silver per bhori is Tk 4,374, 18-carat silver per bhori is Tk 3,791, and the price of traditional method silver per bhori has been set at Tk 2,858.
According to BAJUS information, silver prices have been adjusted 56 times so far this year. Of these, prices were increased 28 times and decreased 28 times. Previously, in 2025, silver prices were adjusted a total of 13 times. At that time, prices increased 10 times and decreased 3 times.
