Army Chief Waker-uz-Zaman on five-day official visit to Turkey
Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman has left for Turkey on a five-day official visit.

He left Dhaka for Turkey on Sunday (July 19). The Army Chief is making this visit at the invitation of the Turkish government.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the information in a press release.

During the visit, General Waker-uz-Zaman will visit various defense industry establishments in Turkey. Additionally, he will hold courtesy meetings and exchange views with top officials of the country's armed forces and defense sector with the aim of further expanding and strengthening defense cooperation between Bangladesh and Turkey.

According to ISPR, this visit will further strengthen the defense relationship between Bangladesh and Turkey and open up new areas of mutual cooperation.
