Bangladesh sends letter to India seeking return of former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal
The Bangladesh government has formally requested the Indian government to send back death-sentenced former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to Bangladesh.

On Monday (July 20) morning, a concerned source of the International Crimes Tribunal confirmed the matter.

The source said a formal letter regarding this matter has been sent to the Indian government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The International Crimes Tribunal sentenced Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to death in a case of crimes against humanity committed during the July movement.

It is learned that a copy of the death sentence given by the International Crimes Tribunal has also been sent to the Indian government along with the extradition request letter.
