On July 6, 2020, a mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam of RAB conducted raids at Regent Hospital branches in Uttara and Mirpur in the capital. The raids found evidence of issuing fake COVID-19 test reports without testing samples, extorting money through fraud, and various irregularities.

The next day, on July 7, following a directive from the health directorate, Regent Hospital's operations were suspended and its office was sealed. On the same day, a case was filed against Sahed and 17 others at Uttara West Police Station.
