Buzz about the President's resignation, Sayeer's status
Discussions have reignited on social media regarding the possible resignation of President Mohammed Shahabuddin. The speculation stems from a Facebook post by expatriate journalist Zulkarnain Sayeer Khan Sami.

In the post made at 3:27 PM on Wednesday (July 22), he claimed that President Mohammed Shahabuddin may resign within the next few days citing health reasons.

In the same post, he further claimed that instead of any top BNP leader, the name of current Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani might be considered as the new President.

However, no official statement or confirmed information has been released so far from the President's office, the government, or any relevant responsible authority regarding this matter.

As a result, the issue of the President's resignation or the appointment of a new President is still being considered as a claim or rumor circulating on social media.
