The Minister said, we must work not as a political party, but as responsible representatives of a government elected by the people, with equal accountability to all citizens.

He said, the media is a multi-faceted field. There is no alternative to the coexistence of people with different opinions, perspectives, and thoughts. Therefore, instead of any narrow or biased decision, the principle of accommodating the maximum number of people through inclusive decision-making must be followed.

Zahir Uddin Swapan said, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is one of the most politically sensitive ministries of the state. Even a small wrong decision here can have major political and social impacts in the future. Therefore, decisions must be made considering long-term effects beyond immediate issues. The acceptability of decisions will depend on the wisdom, experience, and foresight of the committee members.

The meeting, chaired by Chief Information Officer Syed Abdal Ahmed, was attended by Md. Shah Alam, Secretary (Routine Duty) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, senior officials of the ministry, and members of the Press Accreditation Committee.
