Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Dinesh Trivedi said democratic countries will have various types of issues and they can be resolved through dialogue. He said this in response to journalists' questions after a meeting with Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed at the Secretariat on Monday (August 10).
The High Commissioner said, ‘There are and will be democratic issues between Bangladesh and India; this is the beauty of democracy. Within this, the relations between the two countries will be resolved through dialogue.’ He further said that both the people of India and the Prime Minister of India want a good relationship between the two countries, and he expressed optimism that things will be even better in the future.

Regarding the meeting, Dinesh Trivedi said he felt very good after meeting with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, and the discussion was extremely cordial.
