According to FBCCI and CII sources, an advance team has already begun preparatory work before the visit. The delegation will hold meetings with Commerce Minister Khondaker Abdul Muktadir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed, and Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury. In addition, they will hold discussions with FBCCI and BIDA officials.
Over the past two years, trade and commerce between the two countries has been affected by port-related restrictions. Those concerned view this visit as an important initiative to revive trade and investment relations.
