Government working for people's relief: Rizvi
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, member of BNP's standing committee and adviser to the Prime Minister, said the government's work continues for the relief of the people. He said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is working tirelessly to implement the promises made to the people. He is taking initiatives to resolve the country's ongoing crisis.

He said this at a discussion meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon in the capital on Monday. The event was organized to mark the completion of six months of the current government.

At the event, Mahdi Amin, adviser to the Prime Minister and spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, presented a concept paper on the government's six-month (180-day) activities.

BNP standing committee members Nazrul Islam Khan and Ismail Zabihullah, Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, and State Minister for Local Government Mir Shah Alam were present at the event. At the beginning of the event, the Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibli and Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon delivered welcome speeches.
