Three ACC posts had fallen vacant

Earlier, on March 3, ACC chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen and commissioners Mia Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General (retd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid resigned. As a result, all three posts of the commission fell vacant.

Later, on June 22, a selection committee was formed with Justice Md Rezaul Haque of the Appellate Division as president to make recommendations for appointing the ACC chairman and commissioners.
