During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor informed the Prime Minister about various issues including university security, development projects, the 20-year academic development plan, education-research activities, and industry-academia relations.
He sought cooperation in increasing research funds, joint research with international universities, alumni networking, education and research in artificial intelligence, biotechnology and robotics, and expanding internship opportunities for students.
The Prime Minister assured cooperation in the development of Dhaka University's education and research and the implementation of large projects. At the same time, he called for working together to take the university further ahead in international rankings.
Accepting the convocation invitation, the Prime Minister agreed to attend the event.
