Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin has said the presidential election was held in a fair and congenial atmosphere.
After announcing the vote results on Thursday, he told journalists at the entrance of the Parliament that no complaints were received in the election. Voting was completed peacefully and fairly.

The CEC said the gazette of the presidential election results will be published by Thursday.
