Six more to join cabinet
It has been learned that six new members are being added to the cabinet led by Prime Minister Tareq Rahman. However, only four names are known so far. Among them are three ministers and one state minister.

They are BNP standing committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan, Jatiya Party chairman Andalib Rahman Partha, Member of Parliament elected from Bandarban Saching Pru Jerry, and Member of Parliament from Gaibandha-4 constituency Mohammad Shamim Kaisar Lincoln.

On Friday (21 August) evening, the new president will administer their oath at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban. All preparations for the oath-taking ceremony have already been completed. More than 1,200 guests have been invited to the ceremony.

Meanwhile, there is also a possibility of redistribution of responsibilities in the ministries of civil aviation, agriculture, food, power and energy, local government, and information and broadcasting, according to cabinet sources.
