The newly appointed ministers and state ministers paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the Great Liberation War at the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar.
They paid tribute by placing flowers at the altar of the memorial on Saturday (August 22) at noon.

Earlier, around 10:30 am on the same day, newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also paid tribute at the National Martyrs' Memorial. At that time, a smart contingent from the three armed forces gave him a guard of honor. Later, the President signed the visitors' book at the memorial.
