On Saturday (August 22) morning, after paying tribute to the brave martyrs of the Great Liberation War, he planted this sapling. At this time, the President highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and tree plantation, as well as emphasized preserving the green environment and beauty of the memorial.
Earlier, around 10:30 am, the President paid tribute to the martyrs by placing a wreath at the main altar of the National Memorial. Later, he signed the visitors' book of the memorial.
