Chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force paid a courtesy call on President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. The meeting was held at Bangabhaban on Tuesday (August 25) afternoon.
In the meeting, Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral Khondkar Misbah Ul Azim and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan congratulated the President on assuming office.

They informed the President about the activities of their respective forces and sought his guidance and cooperation as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The President expressed satisfaction with the activities of the armed forces and assured continued utmost cooperation from the government in enhancing the professional skills and overall development of the members of the forces.
