Adviser calls deputy minister's remarks on dual citizenship 'casual'
Prime Minister's Information and Broadcasting Adviser Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman has described the remarks made by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir on dual citizenship as 'casual' and 'informal'.

In response to a question from journalists at a press conference organized at the Secretariat on Tuesday (August 25) regarding government activities, he said that the state minister's remarks on the issue should not be taken too seriously.

The adviser said if any clear information is needed on citizenship, it is best to ask the concerned state minister. If necessary, the government can also examine the matter and provide an explanation.
