Chief Justice Jubayer Rahman Chowdhury has commented that AI should not be used to write judgments in cases. He also spoke of the need to enact effective laws and policies regarding where and to what extent AI can be used.
He made these remarks on Saturday at the inaugural ceremony of the country's first AI Governance Summer School held at the auditorium of the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh in the capital.

The Chief Justice said everyone must remain aware so that the use of AI does not undermine people's fundamental rights. AI should be used with the aim of making human life easier and protecting fundamental rights.
