He said this on Saturday (29 August) at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon at a ceremony where job certificates were handed over to families of victims of enforced disappearance and killing and families of martyrs of the July mass uprising.

The Prime Minister said the government is committed to fulfilling the goals and aspirations of those who made the supreme sacrifice for the country and the nation. The government will always stand by these families and their sacrifices will not be allowed to go in vain.

He further said that although all expectations cannot be met on time due to practical reasons, the government will not step back. The support and cooperation of the families of martyrs and the tortured is the source of the government's encouragement, inspiration and strength, the Prime Minister added.
